Some Zen Words of Wisdom

first off, happy valentines day everyone!
now I would like to share something with you, passed on from mr Langtry.
"before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment chop wood, carry water"
this ancient zen saying is all about living life in the present. Allow me to explain as best I can. What this is trying to say is the when working, dont think about it as a stepping stone or how it will effect something else. Instead, just focus on the task at hand. Dont worry about the future or the past, simply the present. A good example of this is in a class you dislike. You are constantly watching the clock, thinking of how much fun you'll have in the next class, or maybe lunch, or something more than whats happening now. Instead, try focusing on what the teacher Is saying, and whats happening _now_
This wayof thinking Is also supposed to help releive stress. I'm not trying to tell you how to live your life, I'm just sharing some helpful information I acquired. So just think about now, not where it well get you or benefits of completing it. If you are always worrying about what will happen, you will realize your life had slipped away, and when you reach your goal, everything leading up to it will simply be forgotten.
Just keep this in mind.

what has happened?

-sigh- Michael Phelps, famous swimmer and Olympic athlete. Most importantly a role model. What has happened? In case you haven't heard, he's a druggie. In case you haven't heard, he visited South Carolina around last week. He was chilling with some friends, and I guess got drunk. And, well, he smoked marijuana! Well that's it. Banned from swimming for three months. And... The worst part.... LEAVE A COMMENT OR I WONT TELL YOU! BAH HA HA! :P

Hello everybody!
Today ima review a tv show, called "The Big Bang Theory". In case you don't watch it, its basically about these two super-nerds. Their name are Lennard and Sheldon. Lennard tries to be cool and likes their across-the-hall neighbor, and struggles desperately to win her heart. Sheldon is, in my opinion, just plain cool. Even though he is a nerd, he's hilarious and just to tally awesome! Lennard and Sheldon have two friends who often come to their house for Thai food. I would tell you their names, but I cannot remember them. But ya its a really good show. Now I would also like to review a CD. Its called Light Grenades by Incubus. On the CD are three hit-singles; Dig, Anna Molly and the most recent one Love Hurts. In addition to these singles are some other great songs. The CD is pretty normal for Incubus, and its really good. If you like bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Bush, or any of the other music that I like mostly, you will probably like Incubus, and, if you are interested, I'd reccomend this CD instead of another one. So yeah. That's all I got for now. Bye!

So I just figured out how to post from my iPod without an app so ya that prob means I'll be posting more often. If get any ideas, which I currently do not have. I just wanted to post cause I'm bored and that's really the only reason. So ya...-brainstorms- well, the last movie I saw was while babysitting someone... I think it was Kit Kittredge the American Girl. Now I would never pick a movie like that, but it was actually pretty good. I mean, it had a nice plot with some nice actors and it was pretty decent. I definetl wouldn't reccomend seeing it, unless you like those sortsa things, but I don't think anyone reading this would. But you never know. Anyways, I'm really struggling for ideas. Hm. Let's think... Um... Well.... No.... I got nothing... But im really bored...so
ima keep writing this meaningless jabber. You probably arent interested in reading any further anyways. Well you prob are now that I said sumfing bout it, so ya. Today was our project on the five pillars of Islam. That was...interesting. You probably arent interested in hearing about that, so I won't talk about it. There are lots of stuff I would love to talk about, but everythings a secret. Its actually quite frustrating. But oh well. There's nothing that can be done about it.
